Happy weekend :-)
It seems safer to stay indoors this back holiday weekend, what with the schizophrenic weather and all, so I am happily spending today at my craft desk.
This card is made using papers from Echo Park's sweet day collection and they are so lovely that it's a shame to cover them up with loads of embellishments....so I haven't!
The sentiment and image are stamped using Paper Smooches stamps and I have simply added a brad and ribbon.
The backing card is chocolate chip and pink pirouette from Stampin Up!
Have a good day.....

P.S. the inside was created using the leftover papers from the front.
Introduction.........
I first started making cards about 7 years ago after watching a craft show on TV and pretty soon I was hooked!! I mainly use rubber stamps for my cards as I love colouring the images.
I buy my suppplies from many wondeful online retailers or I stock up when I go to the shows at the NEC twice a year.
I hope you enjoy my blog.....

If only......
....I could magic this little car into life, it would solve all my car issues!! Its true that you never realise how much you rely on your car until you dont have it and I can't wait until it is either fixed (very unlikely!) or I have a new one.
Anyway, hopefully stamped cars can't break down and with that in mind I have created this card using an image from Paper Smooches 'My Guy' stamp set.
The car is coloured using copics (W1, W3, W5 and a little BV04) and I have applied glossy accents over the whole car for a shine and diamond stickles to the headlights.
The papers are from MME and Echo Park and the sentiment is a stamp from PS 'Simply Said' kit.
The Grey Card is Basic Grey from Stampin up! I didn't want to add too much to the card in the way of embellishments etc as it is quite masculine and would, I think, ruin the effect. This is a close up of the car so you can see the glossy accents better and as always I decorated the inside of the card too......
Nina xxx P.s. apologies for the skinny little pic of the inside!!

Simply said
Here is another card I have made today.....
Sometimes simple is best and I thought this sweet little image spoke for itself so I left the decoration fairly simple on the rest of the card
Of course he had to have a little sparkle and a glossy accents beak (difficult to see from the pic unfortunately).
The stamps used are the same as my previous post (Paper Smooches My Peeps and Simply Said). The paper is Echo Park Sweet Day and the brads and backing card Stampin Up! The inside is a similar layout but with a larger space to write on....

Glitter everywhere.....
I'm not sure how I've managed it but I keep finding glitter everywhere, in the house, the car, at work.....that stuff travels far!!!! I don't even remember using much loose glitter recently, but anyway...
I've had to take the day off work today due to car trouble (desperately want a new one!) but at least I can get some cards made in the unexpected time I have at home :-)
My absolute favorite stamps at the moment are my paper smooches sets and people loooooove the cards with the images on. So cute and versatile.
This is a little fella from 'My Peeps'set and the sentiment is from 'simply said'. I have coloured him using copics and diamond stickles (NOT loose glitter...the plot thickens!!). Papers are from Echo Park's summer days 6x6 and ribbon from the Craft Fairy. The brads and backing card are from Stampin up!
Well I'm off to make more cards so have a good rest of the day :-)

Birthday strops.....!!
I celebrated a milestone birthday this year.....yep, the big 30!! I didn't think it would bother me too much, but this image pretty much sums up how I actually felt about it on the day.....
My birthday was in April but I'm still in a little strop about it ;-) so I had a little giggle to myself whilst making this card!
Anyway, I love pink and grey together so I used Stampin up 'pink pirouette' and 'basic grey' card stock. The papers are from Echo Park and I used the sewing machine to stitch round the edge of the papers.
The image is from Lili of the Valley and is coloured using Copic markers. I paper-pieced the pressie and added diamond stickles to the skirt and tiara.
I hope you like it :-)
