Introduction.........

I first started making cards about 7 years ago after watching a craft show on TV and pretty soon I was hooked!! I mainly use rubber stamps for my cards as I love colouring the images.

I buy my suppplies from many wondeful online retailers or I stock up when I go to the shows at the NEC twice a year.

I hope you enjoy my blog.....

Some more Christmas Cards....

Well,  I had the afternoon off work today to make some more Christmas cards ......but I actually only managed to make three. Its all the colouring that takes the time!! These two are coloured as always using Copics and Prismacolor pencils and the papers are from K&co and Echo park. Both stamped images are from www.liliofthevalley.co.uk and i will be entering the first one into this weeks challenge at http://liliofthevalleythursdaychallenge.blogspot.com/

My next card was stamped with 'Dasher' image from Stampin up! using Jenny Bowlin ink. I then used glossy accents and glitter to make him sparkle. The papers are from Websters pages....

Hopefully I will be making some more this weekend so watch this space!!! xxx

I finally started some Christmas cards!

I decided it was about time I started my Christmas cards, as usual I have left it to the last minute!

This first card is using papers from Websters pages and the sentiment is from Catslife press. The image is from lili of the valley and coloured using copics and prismacolor pencils
I kept the inside simple in cream and the leftovers from the papers on the front. Backing card is from Stampin up!

My second card is again a lili of the valley image and coloured with cpoics and prismacolor pencils, with a Catslife press sentiment, but the papers are from Echo Parks 'Holly Jolly' collection.
Both cards will be donated to Russell's Hall Hospitals Kidney unit in the West Midlands, along with some others I am going to make very shortly..... My younger brother has Kidney dialysis there 3 times a week and they are wonderful!!

Never too old for cupcakes........

I was lucky enough to get some of the new Lili of the Valley stamps at the NEC last week, including this one 'Never too old for cupakes'...

The bow stamp is also from Lili of the Valley and coloured using Copics. I coloured the main image using copics too.

I'm not sure if the camera picked it up but I used glossy accents on the icing to make it look glazed and glitter on her wings.

The inside I decorated with left over papers from the front.
I'm entering this card in this weeks Lili of the Valley Bright and Sparkly Challenge....please visit their blog at http://liliofthevalleythursdaychallenge.blogspot.com/ to see the amazing design team cards....

Sunshine on a rainy day.......

This card is a bit different to my usual style, but the papers are so lovely it was a shame to cover them up with a stamped image......

This backing card is Stampin up! in Chocolate chip and the papers are from My Mind's Eye's lost and found collection (the Sunshine one).

The sentiment is from Technique Tuesday and I punched the Butterflies using a Martha Stewart punch and some of the papers from the same collection.
This is the inside.....just made with some of the leftover paper from the front.
